Some of my favorite finds from an old privy site in my Upstate NY village. The house was build in 1841, and was demolished in 1940. The house was on the top of a hill and the privy was stuck on the back. I found pictures and maps from the late 1800s that helped me find the site!

So it may not be the 1939 World's Fair lamp, but the bottle is a nice find for 25 bucks at a little antique store. (Cat for scale!)

Found ths on the curb today in a free pile! No cracks and the hubs said he will rewire it. I know it's slag glass and brass. Should I polish the brass or leave the patina on? Just need some more info. Thanks in advance for the help!

Over 4ft down and not even a shard of glass or bottle cap in this privy. It was getting to be too deep for comfort because a ground hog had dug out an undercut. Should I shore up and keep going? Old homestead from the mid 1800s. It was abandoned in the 50s.

*F**K*! My mother has had these pieces since before I was born, (I'm 47). And when she found out about my UV collecting she took a black light to her collection and found these. Sent them to me, but USPS decided the "Fragile" sticker was a challenge!
