Dropped 32 pounds in 2 months just walking
I walk about 12 k steps a day, 6 days a week. I've always lifted weights, so I keep that up 2-3 days a week. All this weight loss came from steps. I don't diet. I eat pretty well but I'll eat whatever I want. Pizza, cake.... I just don't eat a lot of it. I just needed to add some cardio to my life. I lost a lot initially and now I am losing about 2 pounds a week, which is just right. My ideal weight is 190-200. My BP, which was really high, is on the low side now. If it stays low I may go off antihypertensives next month. I have been on these 20 years. I live in Boston, which is very walkable. I usually get 8,000 steps by noon. The other 4,000 just happen. I find this really doable. I hardy look at my fitbit until the end of the day. I imagine at some point the progress will stall and I might have to cut out the pizza and cake to get to my goal weight.
