Workplace Rant

I live in WNC where we have recently experienced a huge flood. I am back at work and my employer has decided to feed all its employees every day. Breakfast and lunch. I’m sure y’all know where this is going.

The break area that I am supposed to use has been coopted for these breakfasts. Every day, chafing dishes full of greasy sausage, stinky bacon, and slimy eggs shows up. I am held hostage to this stink and I have to watch everyone else eat all this nasty junk.

Lunch is a little better, but chafing dishes full of hotdogs and hamburgers or barbecue are in front of me almost every single day. Luckily they don’t put cheese in the salads.
