Big Easy Updates based on Your Feedback

Hey y'all, Happy Saturday!

We’ve been listening, and we’re making some big changes to better serve you. Here’s the short version:

  • No more automatic renewals – You’ll only be billed for the exact duration of your medication.
  • Concierge plan discontinued – But don’t worry, you’ll still get the same flexibility, service, and discounts.
  • Expanded pharmacy partnerships – Now including Olympia and PQ through Pharmacy Hub.
  • Nationwide coverage & asynchronous model coming soon!

What’s Changing?

1. No More Automatic Renewals

We heard you loud and clear – automatic renewals aren’t popular. Instead, you’ll only be billed for the duration of your prescription.

💡 How it works:

  • You can still pay monthly – paying for 4-weeks of medication in a month.
  • If your prescription doesn’t divide evenly into 4 weeks, your final charge will be prorated.
  • You’ll now be charged when we place your prescription.
  • New option: You can once again pay in full upfront if preferred.

For example:
📌 A 12-week prescription will be billed at $375/mo (Tirzepatide) or $225/mo (Semaglutide) for 3 months.
📌 A 14-week prescription will be billed monthly for 3 months, with a final half-charge in the 4th month.

Starting with appointments this weekend, all new patients and patients returning for follow-ups will be placed on these plans. It will take some time to transition all our existing patients, so thanks for your patience!

2. Concierge Plan Discontinued

To simplify things, we’re transitioning away from the concierge membership and moving to a standardized 4-week system.

  • The concierge plan was originally designed to ensure continuous care and prevent a “13th month” charge from 4-week billing cycles. But it led to too much confusion (and, let’s be real, some abuse).
  • We’re still prioritizing flexibility – if you and your physician adjust your dose mid-quarter, we’ll send your next quarter’s prescription early, and adjust your billing accordingly.
  • We’re still prioritizing continuous care - we'll be offering new discounts to give long-term patients. We’re looking at a few hundred dollars off at your 1-year anniversary with us, or a loyalty monthly discount for being a patient over a year. More on this as we refine it.

3. Expanding Pharmacy Access

We’ve secured new 503(b) pharmacy partnerships with Olympia and PQ through Pharmacy Hub, which means more access to medication for you.

4. Nationwide Coverage & Asynchronous Model Coming Soon

Big news! 🎉 Our asynchronous model (no live doctor visit required) is almost ready to launch! I think we're going with Wellness Bayou for a name - get it? I told you, I like bad puns.

I think y’all are going to like our pricing quite a bit - but more importantly, I think you're going to like our pricing paired with our customer service. We’ve got the pharmacy and physicians lined up. Now, we're just double-checking asynchronous care rules for each state.

We’re also speaking with a provider licensed in ALL 50 states – fingers crossed this works out so we can cover the entire country soon - for both Live and asynch!

Well, that's about it. Let me know what other thoughts, comments, or concerns you have. We're here to support you on your journey and we’re always working to improve and make your experience even better. Stay tuned for more updates!

Thanks y'all,

David
