GPU not working after CPU upgrade

hey its me again.

i just updated my BIOS and upgraded my CPU but now the GPU doesnt have any output. only integrated graphics work. after loading into windows, my GPU doesnt get recognized at all. the GPU LEDs are on and it looks like it always does but it just wont do anything.

so far ive tried to:

- reinstall nvidia drivers (it just says theres no nvidia gpu installed and fails the installation)

- reset and replace the CMOS (mine was empty)

- reseat GPU

- reseat RAM

- going back to the old CPU

- using a different GPU

- playing around with different bios settings i have no idea how to use

but still no luck. really have no idea what im doing here. i have yet to try the second PCIE slot wich is what im gonna do now. my next move after that is to disable integrated graphics in the bios completely (and then reset CMOS again if that doesnt work). would really appreciate any help if y'all ever ran into that problem before.

update 1: second PCIE slot doesnt work either and my BIOS is already set to PCIE first instead of integrated graphics.
update 2: im literally losing my mind

update 3: after updating my chipset driver i found out my pcie slot just randomly died on me and only the bottom one works. oh brother.
