Methods to combat low gravity living
Hey guys, I've been thinking about communities that live exclusively on space stations with low gravity. Upon researching the effects of low gravity, it looks like it can effect your muscle growth and lowers your immune system.
I've been thinking about ideas in my setting to combat this. I've got drugs that boost immune systems and improve muscle growth. Environment suits that isolate humans from the harmful effects of low gravity.
But I was thinking genetic engineering would be the way to go, at least long term. Some form of gene editing to create humans that can thrive in this environment.
But in the meantime drugs would be the short term method.
What do you guys think? Would genetic engineering be the way to go?
The downside I see is, what if they manage to find a planet to live on?
