🐶 Rocky is an 11-year-old Boxer who requires a rescue placement. He was surrendered by his owner.
Rocky displayed calm and neutral behavior during his assessment. He allowed the handler to leash him with no issues and walked calmly out of the kennel. In the yard, he remained neutral and self-contained, preferring to keep his distance from other dogs. After being muzzled for safety during introductions, Rocky was able to relax and explore the yard. He occasionally approached for affection but preferred to be alone. Rocky has been tolerant during medical assessments and shows no concerning behavior when handled. Given his history, an adult-only home with no other dogs is the best fit to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for him. Rocky is available for rescue only. He will thrive in a home where he can receive the proper care and attention he deserves.
