Taking a puppy back to a breeder

Hello, me and my husband have a golden retriever and a cat! We thought it would be a good idea to get a puppy since I'm a stay at home pet mom and we have a house now with a huge yard. We got a english lab and honestly it's been hell. I know everyone says that and the puppy blues. I worked with dogs and pet care but I feel like I regret it. My dog and cat aren't happy and I'm so irritated and feel like I'm failing. This wasn't also a random decision we talked about it for months and months and prepared. I also plan on doing puppy classes.

Has anyone here gave back a puppy to a breeder? Or anything like that? I'd feel like a screw up and horrible. But I rather give him back and have someone else love him fully and be happy than me regret it or not be ready.
