Help upgrading from 5.00 4.33cfw to the 6.61 infinity2 (pro cw2) PSP 1000

Hello there!

I've been trying to update my psp after years of running 4.33.

I was following these instructions https://hackinformer.com/PlayStationGuide/PSP/tutorials/how_to_install_661_infinity.html

But as soon as I want to run infinity 2, an error message comes up:

"could not disable kernel whitelist (fffff)"

Infinity 2 downloadable zip no longer comes with all those three folders mentioned in the link I pasted above, but rather a single eboot file.

Do I have to uninstall my current cfw?
