How does the first kick feel ?

So I’ll be 18 weeks tomorrow, but I’m like really eager to like feel him kick to just know the feeling of it. Like at my sonogram appointments the tech always says he’s moving and I genuinely do not feel it. So like what feeling am I looking for ?

My mom thinks I’m being impatient about it and that I will know when he kicks for the first time. Because I will feel it. But idk the anticipation is killing me !! I know my son is annoyed with me putting headphones on my stomach and pressing down on him bunch lol
