Thoughts on vacations without your newborn? Anyone ever done that and trusted in-laws?

We have a wedding Nov 1st 2025 that my husband is in, and it’s in St. Lucia. My baby is due in July 2025 so he will be ~4 months old. My aunt volunteered to watch him and it would be 5 nights total but I’m worried family is just being nice, that seems like SO much to ask since babies need to be fed every 2-3 hours. Anyone else ever been in this situation and it was totally fine and you’re glad you went on the trip? Or way too soon don’t do it.
