I hate the election

This stupid thing has been stressing me out and I try to not get involved in politics beyond being aware of what’s going on. I feel like I can’t even take my kid over to my mom’s house to visit because the election has them so heated. I can’t have a simple conversation on potty training without it being twisted into a political tirade. I’ve been so stressed walking on eggshells that it’s starting to physically impact me. I went to the hospital yesterday concerned because of steady cramping and sharp pains in my abdomen, it started up last week after an exhausting visit to my moms. Luckily baby seems to be doing fine and no red flags were raised, but I was warned to be on the look out and to try keeping my stress levels down.

Edit: guys I vote I just try not to get involved in discussions about politics.
