Driver Aggression

Has anyone else experienced this?

I live in the Bay Area, CA. I have had a new to me 997 C2S for the past few months (which I love and enjoy driving whenever I can), when I drive it at night, it's a different experience. I have had many cars drive aggressively towards me, around me and past me -- I'll pass a car only to look up in my rear view to see them right on my ass (to the point where I can't even see their tail lights). It's an awful experience. On Friday night I had a Mustang GT500 do just that, they sped off at what had to be 150mph and then turn off their lights and continue to drive off. My car is 20 years old -- I'm not in the mood.

I'm wondering if this is a common thing people face who drive 911's(/Porsches, sports cars in general)? Do you experience the driving aggression of others as you go about your daily life and how do you deal/successfully disengage? Is it jealousy (lol) ??
