What do you pay for classes?

I'm interested to know how much the sport costs in different places. Somehow, it's not discussed much?

I'm in Northern Germany. At my studio, a single class is now at €25 a pop, or you can get a 10x pass for currently, I believe, €215; and a 5x pass for ...€105-ish? Then there are 8-week choreo classes are a bit cheaper, last time I checked they were about €180 or 190? They've started to offer 4-week classes now, too; no idea what those cost. Unfortunately they got rid of open practice, which used to be €10 per session (€90 for 10x).

Each class is 75 minutes long, warm-up is 20-25 minutes long.

I know that, compared to, say, a standard gym membership*, pole studios have to pay higher insurance fees and they need a smaller student-to-teacher ratio because it's a high-risk sport that requires spotting and space, etc. But it does strike me as a luxury sport.

I usually go for the 10x pass. I used to train twice a week (so it would last me 5 weeks) but I can't afford that anymore; now I get one whenever I can and I try to spread it out slowly and strategically, heh.

(* From what I've seen on my quick google search, typically subscriptions for regular gym memberships are around €40 per month, and you're required to sign up for a certain amount of time, plus there's an admission fee; there are a few cheaper chains, idk how much those are.)

Edit: I forgot to mention private lessons; last I saw the listing those were €60, though they may have gone up since.

Edit 2: My city has three pole studios total; the others offer memberships with carrying commitments, or hybrid models where you can choose between a subscription or buying a pass for classes. None of them have unlimited classes- I can't believe some of you guys are getting unlimited! The plans I saw had 1 class per week + 1 open practice session, and then they would go up in price per additional weekly class (monthly billing). Honestly, a membership for /limited/ classes never appealed to me. I like to mix and match technical tricks/combo classes with some one-off choreo specials sprinkled throughout.

Edit3: So far, passes have always been valid for 6 months.
