Anyone else detest their name as a kid, but love it now? I just remember going through phases where I couldn't stand my name and wanted something so different, wishing that my parents had gone with one of the other options they were considering even when I didn't really like those names either lol. But as an adult I adore and appreciate it and truly wouldn't want any other name. I'm grateful and relieved to feel this way now!

Perhaps it's a matter of child/adolescent development and everyone goes through this...perhaps not. If this is the case for you, what changed and caused you to love your name? Was it just maturity, acceptance, or is there something about your name specifically that you learned to love? Anyone have the opposite experience? (loved it as a kid, not so much anymore?)
