Should I play MGSV and Rising?

I just finished playing MGS Master collection. I am now obsessed with this game franchise. I want to play more of the games but I want to experience the story in the best possible way. I have been playing them in release order like everyone suggests but, I have no really great way to play MGS4. I tried emulation but after hours of trying to get it to work it won’t last more than 20mins without crashing. My question to you guys is am I spoiling myself if I skip to MGSV or Rising? (More so MGSV since Rising is about Raiden and I’m sure I need context from MGS4)
