looking for feedback regarding what i may be doing wrong here
25f, 5'7, 143lbs
calorie deficit: ~1,800 cals (TDEE says maintenance is 2,400 based on my activity level). my oura ring says i burn 400-1000 active calories per day, and between 2.3-2.5k calories total.
exercise: 6-7 days a week. 10-15k steps per day. pilates 2-3 times a week, gym ~5 days a week (1-2 hours total - combination of leg day, push/pull days, core workouts, and cardio on the treadmill), walking the dogs ~1-2 miles/day. long walks (5-10mi) with my boyfriend on sundays. have recently started to incorporate short runs (1-3 miles) every few days.
macros: 100-160g of protein, shooting for low carb/low sugar. lots of fruits, chicken, beef, rice, cheese, greek yogurt, veggies, etc. i avoid seed oils, artificial sweeteners, etc
drinks: only water, decaf green tea, and relyte electrolytes. no soda, coffee, alcohol, etc. i'm pretty awful at staying hydrated and probably drink 2-3 cups of water a day.
vitamins: probiotic, l-glutamine, vitamin D, magnesium, ashwaganda, vitamin C
medication: hormonal birth control
cheat day: occasionally one day on the weekend
i attempted to start my weight loss journey right before christmas - i'd say dec 17 or 18. i'd love to be ~130-135lbs. my lowest ever weight was 119lbs and i looked ill, my highest has been ~148. i do not carry much fat at all on my legs or arms, it's predominantly all in my lower belly (which i absolutely cannot stand). for the past two months, i've taken my lifestyle incredibly seriously. i spend at least 2-5 hours engaging in some form of exercise daily, i've been meal prepping, taking the quality of my diet super seriously, etc.
however, i've lost a pound at most. my weight fluctuates between 142.9 and 144.6. my upper stomach and legs look more toned, but otherwise i haven't noticed anything crazy. i am so deeply confused as to why i haven't lost weight after putting this much effort in. i'm still going to keep doing the same things because i feel great mentally, but what gives?
