Song theories…

So I like to spot possible hidden clues. I have a theory about TS Exile and TS bigger than the whole sky.

Exile: the lyrics “I think I’ve seen this film before and I didn’t like the ending” Takes me back to when jenny said she didn’t like the ending of the book and she was flip flopping and at the last minute it was Conrad. So, Is the ‘film’ the book? as in I’ve wrote this story before but I didn’t like the ending so this time I’m giving you the ending I originally wanted (jelly) this TS song has both Conrad and Jere in the scene with Bells not just Conrad and Belly as we usually see! Maybe she’s telling us she wants to change the ending.

Bigger than the whole sky:

The lyrics “You were more than just a short time And I've got a lot to pine about I've got a lot to live without I'm never gonna meet What could've been, would've been What should've been you”

These particular lyrics play when Jere walks in and she’s asking who comes back together and she mentions him first the last words of the song are what could have been what should have been you, just before the scene where she wakes up in motel and looks over at Jere.

My theory is, everybody thinks this song is about Conrad as it’s her and susannah discussing their breakup.

BUT if you look at the whole scene she doesn’t answer the question when asked if she still loves him. Then the song plays just before Jere walks in and for the rest of that scene just before she wakes up as I’ve said above.

What if the song is actually about Jere and what she could have had, after all she did say she pushed him to the side for Conrad in s1.

So maybe the lyrics “could have had, should have had should have been you” are her thoughts about Jere like she’s thinking what did I do? Why didn’t I stay with you? I want you!

Then right after she goes to find him and chooses him.

Anyway that’s my analysis and theory of those 2 particular songs possibly a foreshadow?

Do you have any theories or tales on this or any other songs which may send the story in a particular direction?

Jenny says the music is an important part of the story telling so maybe there are some hidden meanings and messages in the particular songs she has chosen for each scene to tell the story. What are your thoughts?
