SO left me with a lot of plants - need advice/help
Hello r/houseplants,
I come to you with a bit of a weird request. My partner has very suddenly died a few weeks ago and left me with her plants. She always loved plants and took great care of them, after our last move she gave away some plants to friends and people online so now there are 14 left. I always liked plants, but it was her hobby and I didn't spend much time learning about how to care for them. She gifted me a book before she passed away, basically a houseplant guide for dummies - I will read it as soon as I have some energy again.
I really do not want those plants to die and want to take care of them as well as I can. I wanted to ask if you could help me identify the plants and give me advice on how to take care of them, just basic tips like how often I should water them and if they should have as much direct sunlight as possible or only a few hours per day. I also have an LED lamp that she used to use for the plants that didn't get as much sunlight. She also ordered mites, I added a picture of those too - they were supposed to eat larvae of some kind that can get the plants sick I think.
I am sorry for the weird request, I am just exhausted and emotionally drained but while I might wither away I don't want the plants to do that. I am also open to dms or talking over discord if the information I am asking for is too much for a comment and if there are more specific things I should watch out for when caring for them.
Thank you in advance for your time and help.
Edit: I thought the pictures got posted, I have added them to the post now I think. Sorry about that. I will read through all the comments and respond as quickly as possible!
