No Luminescent on GWG 2000 1a5?

I waited patiently over the weekend to receive my gwg 2000 a15. Watch looks amazing, but no Luminosity?!? I thought maybe it may need some light to “charge up” the glow in the dark paint on the hands and numbers but no luck. Is this standard for this model???

I’m thinking about returning it just for that reason.
