Most expensive ship possible
Ive been trying to figure out a challenge run for Easy mode where I create the most expensive ship possible with the most expensive assets. I think the ship that can pack the most potential value is the slug B, as it has the extra system slot for to take hacking (175 scrap total) over med bay (120 scrap total). I considered Artillery Beam, but anything that cannot be bought I give a value of 0. The 4 most expensive systems that can be bought normally by any ship are in order: Drone, then Cloaking, then Teleporter, then Hacking.
Slug B starting systems:
Shields 125 + 330 upgrades
Engines 10 + 345 upgrades
Oxygen 0 + 75 upgrades
Teleporter 90 + 90 upgrades
Weapons 40 + 375 upgrades
Piloting 0 + 70 upgrades
Doors 95 + 50 upgrades
Purchasable systems
Sensors 40 + 65 upgrades
Backup Battery 50+ 35 upgrades
Drone 75 (min) + 335 upgrades
Cloaking 150+80 upgrades
Hacking 80+95 upgrades
System total: 755 + 1945 upgrades= 2700

Scrap required (minus starting systems): 4025
While getting this amount of scrap might be possible, with the addition of the number stores youd have to go to to buy all this stuff, i think it would be impossible, not to mentions simply finding 8 glaives and vulcans would be difficult enough in a single run.
I think the challenge I propose for myself then is that i upgrade all the most expensive systems and then just fill out all the weapon/drone/storage/augment slots with whatever I can rather than the most expensive. Might see if I can try this challenge with different ships, with the simple system if hierarchy of Drone, then Cloaking, then Teleporter
