Stubborn pain between rhomboid and spine, what can I do once and for all?
I did a shoulder workout in November 2020 and I felt something snap on that exact area. I rested for a month (no gym at all, no exercise) and I was 95% back to normal so I worked out again and started lifting light weights in terms of shoulder workouts just to take precaution. Foolishly, I felt good so I went back to lifting heavy in terms of shoulder workouts again and unsurprisingly - the pain came back.
I've rested it again for 3 weeks and felt 90% better but last night when I was having sex with my girl, it came back and now it hurts like hell again 😞😞. I apologize for the TMI but I just don't want to spend thousands of dollars on doctors. Is full blown rest the cure to this nagging problem? I'm honestly petrified that I won't be able to play sports or hit the gym anymore for the rest of my life. I'd greatly appreciate a reply from you 😁 or anyone else that's experienced something similar.
