I'm an idiot.
I was carrying home these truly like-new West Elm chairs and I fumbled two of them, and now they're scratched. This is the Lenox chair in blackened brass.
The scratch seems to cut through a glossy metallic top layer, then something smooth and kinda plastic-y? I'm not sure where even to begin - has anyone tried a similar touchup?
(It was really stupid of me to try to rush them home myself, but I was trying to beat the snow and incoming guests tomorrow, and I didn't know I would strike it so rich at the outlet in the first place. Now I could just kick myself!! 😣)
