The severed floor at Lumon
The more I watch Severance, the more I am convinced that the writers are exmo's and that the show is a critique of Mormonism.
I went to another ward building recently for sacrament meeting. A few hours later, my wife was on the phone with her mom talking about it. The main point of interest was that the sacrament trays were metal and heavy instead of made of cheap plastic. She thought that was really neat. I couldn't help but think of Burt back there in the little sacrament closet shining up the trays with a cloth in his lab coat. Anyways here are some "likenesses" that i noticed in the show.
The portraits of Keir on all the walls. Praising "the founder". Shrines built everywhere look exactly like church history sites. Drab decor. Simple and empty conversation. Millchick as stake president or GA with that million dollar fake nice smile. There are a thousand others. Interested to hear your thoughts.
