Guns For Protection
I’m curious about this one. In the early 1980s I sold my firearms because of an article that came out that indicated we should not use firearms to defend ourselves, even in our homes. Unfortunately I was an aspiring ministerial witness to be at the time. After disassociating in 2012 and moving back to the United States, I took up advanced training and I keep several firearms at home. I also am licensed to carry a concealed weapon in 38 States, which I often do.
I wonder how many PIMOs or POMOs own firearms for personal defense.
Today I read their“questions from the readers” from 2017 and it roughly complies with the same thing that was introduced around 1983. It seems like a wonderful example of pretzel twisting to find scriptures that conform to their pre-existing viewpoint. Still today, they say that using a gun to defend oneself is wrong and anyone who keeps a gun for that purpose is not exemplary, and of course all the nonsense related to that stain.
