Need advice

I have no budget, I am looking to purchase a bile to travel to work, it's only about a quarter mile. Here's the catch, I also am an avid deer hunter and I would like to dual purpose the bike to be able to ride out to my deer stand on some not so smooth terrain. I was looking at the surrons but I dunno if that's even practical to ride to work.
