Eahora Juliet II Initial 50 mile Review
I had been considering the original Juliet for a while but then I saw the pre-order offer that came with its second gen, so I decided to opt for that instead. The Juliet II supposedly brings substantial improvements, including a much more powerful 1500W motor and the battery voltage up to 52v instead of the 48v. After two days of use, I could confidently say its pretty good.
Pros: 1. Was able to hit a 34 mph and my Relive App recorded a max of 44 mph 2. Because of its large battery, I was able to go full throttle, PAS 5, a rough 20 miles, only losing about 30% in the process. No attempted range test yet though. 3. Overall, its a pretty solid bike. 4. Has a neat way of automatically turning on the headlights when its dark.
Cons: 1. The brakes are definately not performing the best. Works but not the best.. 2. Suspension's a joke. Works but not the best also. 3. The companion app (Bikego, by some random Chinese company) for the bike is very suspicious and its built in navigation features have a paywall after a trial period. I have and will continue to use other Navigation apps, thank you. 4. If you are looking for a simple ebike, this is unnecessary overkill due to range and speed, as per legality reasons (though this is my preferred alternative mode of transport since I have no car, so for me its perfect for my needs)
Haven't had issues with customer support at all, the only communication was in regards to when they are shipping the bike out. Response was pretty prompt in my opinion. This is not a paid post, just me ranting my opinion since information is somewhat scarce with this bike.
Will answer questions to the best of my abilities, thanks for reading.
