First violation, how screwed am I?

I was doing a delivery and traffic was at a bumper to bumper stand still and was 30 minutes late because of it. Theres alot of road work in my area plus the county fair going on so that probably contributed to the traffic. I disputed it and im awaiting a reply. Am I screwed here or is it not a big deal?
