Cleaning vs fluid removal
I've been on in center hemo since last July. Prior to that I was inpatient dialysis due to a beyond failed liver. My kidneys didn't recover from that and I'm diagnosed stage 5 CKD. I still produce urine pretty well, just don't filter.
So far in my experience now that I've corrected the doctors and stoped them from trying to take 4 kilos off me when I had nooo weight on me things have been as good as it could be given the situation.
But something odd has been happening, when I go in and weigh i typically only need a cleaning or 1 kilo off to keep me on target weight for the week. I only visit twice a week
Whenever I opt of the cleaning option it makes me feel like utter garbage. Itching, bone aches, blood pressure drops, headaches, hypersensitivity and fatigue. I call it dyailisuck those days
Take 1 kilo off my BP is a happy 111/78 give or take, I feel like I can go out and do just about anything minus the slight vision change I get with treatment.
I've asked the nurses techs and even the nephrologist. All of them kinda shrug and say "strange, never heard of that, everyone reacts differently"
So I guess my question is: has anyone else expirenced this? Or have an idea why it might be?
Thanks for reading and may all your treatments be with you, not against you.
