Story of an empty metro seat

After a long, soul-crushing day at work, I squeezed myself into the Delhi Metro. Just when I thought I'd be standing all the way home, I spotted it—an empty seat. A miracle.

Heart racing, legs aching, I made my way through the crowd like a champion. Just a few steps more. My moment of glory was here.

And then—I saw it. The reason no one had claimed this golden throne.

A fresh puddle of vomit right next to it.

I stood there for a second, staring at my crushed dreams and questionable life choices.

Delhi Metro, you never fail to humble me.
