Hush 2 just a gimmick?
I've been a long-time fan of Batman comics, and the original Hush storyline holds a special place in my collection. However, with the recent announcement of Hush 2 I can't help but feel a mix of excitement and skepticism.
On one hand, reuniting the original creative team has the potential to recapture the magic of the first series. But on the other hand, I worry that this sequel might be more of a marketing move than a genuine effort to enrich the Batman narrative.
The original "Hush" was a dense narrative, introducing a plethora of characters and plot twists. Some fans felt it was overwhelming, and I'm concerned that a sequel might repeat these issues or, worse, dilute the impact of the original story.
Additionally, considering DC Comics' recent sales strategies, it's hard not to wonder if Hush 2 is an attempt to boost numbers by capitalizing on nostalgia.
I'm curious to hear what other fans think. Is "Hush 2" a welcome continuation or just a gimmick? What are your hopes and fears for Hush 2?
