Sleep in cello or raw?

Do you store with cello on or without cello. For aesthetic reasons I remove cello. I can’t picture Churchill, Kennedy, George Burns, Twain or US Grant having plastic wrappers on their sticks. I am concerned about the cigars cross contaminating each other in the tupperdor. ie the individual flavors of each blending into a mass of homogeneous tobacco. Lemme know your thoughts.
