As a left-leaning, and yes, LIBERAL (I hope I don't break this sub with that term) redditor, I accept the outcome of this election.
I've never hid the fact that I've been a left-leaning, independent voter here. I've never hid the fact that I've had liberal views either. That hasn't stopped the Trump trolls from claiming that I'm somehow not center as if being center even mattered to them.
But I digress... I accept the outcome of this election. Do I agree with America's choice? No. I think most Americans are stupid. And yes, I fully realize that when I say that Republicans are going to scream "SEE! THAT'S WHY YOU LOST!"
No, Democrats didn't lose because of rhetoric. They lost because people are stupid. Calling a spade a spade isn't wrong. And first and foremost, Democrats in office never called voters stupid. I'M calling voters stupid. So let's get that straight.
Still, I accept that Trump won. I accept that he'll do everything the complete opposite his constituency thinks he will. He will DEFINITELY NOT lower the cost of eggs. He won't be the answer to every idiot who voted for him. He WILL BE the answer for every top 2% individual who did though.
So congrats. I'm glad all you anti-establishment people will get what you voted for by... not actually getting what you voted for...
