Drugs in the 80s-2000s

Hey. I know this is kinda dark topic, but I’m interested in researching the history of Burlington and the rise of drug addiction here.

I read online that coke first became popular here in the 80s, and has waned and waxed in popularity ever since than.

What was it like growing up in that era? How were drugs getting distributed? What was the culture surrounding drugs?
