OWI w/ extras

Look- I understand there have already been multiple posts regarding the drug policy for a BPA. So, since I find my situation a bit different regarding the time frames that have been listed, here I am.

Unfortunately, last May (2024) I had my first encounter in handcuffs. I was charged with a OWI and spent a day a half in jail.

For specifics, I was pulled over with a .082 BAC. The legal limit is .080.

I also had a vape pen containing delta 8, which they initially tagged me with a misdemeanor for possession of a controlled substance.

I was let out of jail on my own recognition without bail, for being a 1st time offender to the badge.

The possession charge was later dropped as part of the plea deal I took, as well as the farm bill amendment.

No probation, no community service, no random drug/alcohol testing, etc. Fines and a 6 month license suspension were my consequences. My car insurance does require SR22 insurance in order to keep my license in good standing.

It’s not something I’m proud of, and am ready to be a part of something i am proud of.

Due to the fact that I am nearing 30, showed a clear lack of judgement at a decisively adult age, and it’s recency- will I even have a shot?
