Choosing a Battlefield

Despite me gaming for many years, BF2042 is my first foray into the BF franchise. I love the game, especially the Hardcore BreakThrough going on now. I see BFV is cheap on Stream, and I think many folks preferred other BF games to BF2042…so would I like BFV? Are there enough people playing it to make it fun? Thanks for your feedback.
