Discussion: What is the cause for rape?

I'm really saddened about what happened to Abhaya and needless to say, other countless cases that gets muzzled under the rug. It shouldn't happen to anyone.

I was watching Republic TV the other day and the host (not Arnab) went on to rant about porn and imposing a ban. How is it that everytime something like this happens, instinctively, we think about banning porn? If you ban porn, then obviously people will find ways/means to watch it anyway.

Mamata Banerjee said, try avoiding night shift (or going out late night) I'm just paraphrasing here, and then there are some people who think wearing skimpy clothes or PDA is inviting rape.
