What’s wrong with people nowadays? Why do we reward bad behavior?

I’ve noticed a weird trend on Reddit lately, and I just need to get this off my chest. Whenever someone posts about a personal issue or asks for advice, it seems like the mature, rational, and morally right comments are buried under downvotes. Meanwhile, comments promoting immature actions—hatred, revenge, and pettiness—get upvoted to the top.

What happened to having principles? Why is doing the right thing suddenly "uncool"? Why do we mock or ignore advice that promotes personal growth, forgiveness, or calmness, but celebrate impulsiveness, spite, and immaturity?

I know life isn’t black and white, and people need to vent, but it feels like we're collectively losing touch with our moral compass. Encouraging someone to be kind, take the high road, or think logically should be seen as strength, not weakness. I can’t be the only one who thinks this, right?

Is it just me, or has negativity and drama become the new normal?
