Zephyrus G16 OLED for 5+ years of use

I know that this subreddit is for the G14, but I might as well ask here since both have similar panels.

For context: I'm planning to get the G16, Ultra 9 185H, 16GB, RTX 4070. It's practically the only one I could get, there's no 4060 in my country and the next step over is 32GB, RTX 4080, and it's much more expensive going outside my budget.

I'm currently a 2nd year mechanical engineering student, I consider buying the laptop a big purchase and I doubt that I will upgrade in the next 5 or so years. I am the type of person to take active care for their device and I prefer the taskbar automatically hiding itself. Considering this, I would love to know if the panel would last me that long.

Here are my uses cases: when I'm at home I have a desktop setup where I plug my laptop in, I'll probably mainly use it as a side monitor. When I'm at campus, most of the lighting is warm or sunlight, so I doubt I'll use it in 90%+ brightness. I might occasionally need the 90%+ when I travel outside.
