Kelsey & Josh

I know bunch of us are just now watching due to Netflix… but i have a question for original viewers for when it aired. Were people not upset or bothered by Kelsey moving in with Josh? I know she was upset with Liza but that felt vindictive and wrong. I know it’s a show but i wouldn’t have been able to be friends in the same way after that. Also was there any outrage when there was a slight romance between them? >! I mean they even kissed! <! It seemed they went past that so fast and never brought it up again but that sincerely pissed me off. What were the reactions live? Any newer watchers peeved by that?
