Your biggest electoral disappointment, in 2024(Harris vs Trump not included)?
I know they are related, downballot-effect and all, but if you try to not factor that in too much.
Could be anything, how a state shifted, how a certain statewide race went, what is yours?
Personally, there were many disappointments to choose from, from NJ becoming pretty much a swing state, to Casey losing his seat, also, i thought Peltola was actually popular in Alaska, but not the extent that i thought.
But, i'll ultimately go with Texas, like, overall, now i didn't have high hopes, but the fact that is shifted so far back to the right, is demoralizing, 2018(senate) and 2020 were evidently complete flukes, there is no future for democrats in the state, back to the same-old rust-belt strategy.
Mostly, this will be for those on the left, but if some on the right have disappointing results too, feel free to chip in.
