IYO Sky vs Rhea Ripley... Talk me off the ledge After Royal Rumble

My pick for the Royal Rumble didn’t happen because of Charlotte Flair. My dream match is IYO Sky vs. Rhea Ripley because they’re my favorites. I've wanted them to face each other on the main roster forever, and it seemed like the stars were aligning when they started interacting on RAW and IYO called her out in a video. Well, she didn’t win the Rumble, and here we are with one more shot. I feel down about this. The Elimination Chamber. A few things need to happen for this to work:

  1. Charlotte needs to challenge Tiffany Stratton.
  2. IYO needs to qualify for the Chamber.
  3. IYO needs to win the Chamber.

Now there are a few wildcards here with #3:

  1. Bianca Belair
  2. Becky Lynch

What fears me is that they’ll do what they did with the Rumble and go to their go-to people, picking one of the two above. But the way HHH books, and the way his logic works, those two don’t make sense to me to win the EC.

  1. Bianca is in a tag team with Naomi, only after Jade was taken out. If she wins the EC, that storyline is essentially dropped.
  2. Becky, when she left, was dealing with Liv. Her coming back and saying, “Okay, Rhea, I challenge you because I didn’t beat you last time I was sick, blah blah blah,” makes more sense, but her feud with Liv or Lyra would make better sense.

If IYO doesn’t win the EC, where does that leave her? In another WrestleMania tag match? A random women’s Battle Royale? Or even worse, in a SmackDown match? That doesn’t sit well with me.

So, people, talk me off the ledge. I know, let the story play out, but I’m too close to my dream match to just let this play out without thinking. Is IYO Sky vs Rhea Ripley going to happen?
