How is Gemstone?

I was accepted into the CS program and the Gemstone honors college. The projects they do seem really interesting, so I want to know if anyone here is in it and what are their thoughts? How is Ellicott Hall compared to “traditional” dorms? Is Gemstone worth it? Thanks.
