Question about Mods

Hi! I just need a little help with modding my game, this might come off a little stupid but I'm struggling so this is my last resort lmao

To get to the point, is there a way I can add mods to stardew that only applies to selected saves? As in, it won't interfere with other saves I have — I want to download SVE but I'm afraid it will break my current saves, this goes for a lot of other mods. Any help will be greatly appreciated, ty in advance
