Should excessive rage quitting be a ban?

Saw a thread talking about this and it got me wondering, how would that even work? Because not everyone who leaves a match does so intentionally, something it could be due to internet connection issues, or because of a bug that forces a player to leave

I think banning player who leaves match unexpectedly would kill the game (or at least online) because false bans would happen.

If you ask me, they should set up a 'bad sport' matchmaking thing. If you’ve ever played GTA5 I’m sure you know what a bad sport lobby is. That what I think should happen. That and points/rank deduction
