Do I want a P226 Legion?
I already have a P229 Legion. It’s my EDC (OWB 3 o’clock), but I’m struggling with P226 envy.
I have small hands (size 8 gloves) but thick fingers. I’m a former steel worker, so my pinky presses firmly on the magazine extension when properly gripped. My index finger just barely touches the trigger properly.
Do I search for a P226? I can get a non-optic cut SAO for roughly $700-$800 locally (but, will likely have to pay for milling down the road). Or, do I keep searching for a factory cut option?
My biggest hangup with the P229 is capacity. 15+1 is enough, but 18+1 flush fit Mec-Gar mags in a P226 without any real height difference is giving me some lust.
Lastly…. I can only keep one.
Thoughts?
