I am interested in moving to a country abroad that is more affordable and has a sustainable climate. Any recs?

I currently live in the Southwest United States and I was born in the North East. We had temperatures in the 90s this week and I am growing anxious about climate change.

I like cities like Seattle, San Diego, San Antonio, Burlington, Boston. I like a blend of urban convenience and outdoor proximity. My ideal place to live would have water like a lake and skiing within a few hours.

I am not concerned about working or finding a job. I have an investment that will fund me through retirement at about 50-75k a year. I could potentially buy a house in another country or rent. I can also get Italian citizenship if I want to. I speak Arabic, Chinese, and Spanish. Any suggestions?
