Alexa issues/Frustrating Service Appointment
Just had a service appointment (after waiting almost a month) to try to get Alexa working with Spotify and Sirius. Took the morning off work and drove 45 min to the service center, only to have the tech immediately tell me it’s an Amazon issue, not Rivian’s problem. Seems like they could have told that me to on one of the several calls I had with them.
I like this car, but I’m not sure I’d recommend it to a friend. It’s great they are focused on self driving, but they haven’t gotten the basics down. This car is way less “hands free” than my 10 year old Honda.
If they don’t want to accept CarPlay (I have my thoughts, but don’t need to get into another CarPlay argument), they have to have a working alternative, and they just don’t.
I really hope they get this figured out.
