Will it fly?
I'm building my first RC plane. I don't even have a radio yet, so I wanted to ask what the odds are that this will fly before I drop 50-100 bucks on a radio lol.
It's not completely finished and I haven't put any electronics on yet. But I was curious if it actually has the potential to fly well before I did so. Also, I feel like the propeller is way too small lol. Not sure how you're supposed to measure it, but it has a diameter of 11cm.
- It's gonna have a 2700kv brushless motor at the front
- 3s 2550mah lipo battery (weight: 173g)
- I'm thinking one servo for each aileron, one for rudder, one for elevator
- The plane weighs 435g without any electronics
- Wingspan: 93cm
- Fuselage length: 59cm
- Total weight (plane + battery): 603g
That's pretty much it. My main concern is probably that it's quite heavy 😅, but I bought the most powerful motor I could find so I'm not sure really.
Any tips are also appreciated :D
