Which game to get next?

For context, this was my first pokemon game since ruby/Sapphire and I had an absolute blast. I loved the open world exploration aspect and I got absolutely addicted to shiny hunting.

I'm looking for a next game to continue filling up my shiny dex. Ideally, there is less overlap of pokemon available and a game thay is nice to shiny hunt in. Not keen on PLA as the next game, because I'm not a fan of the pokeballs, but can see myself getting it down the road.

SwSh seems to have a large dex, so that might fit. Thoughts?
